Adept and sensational Ghanaian Hilife singer, songwriter and composer Evans Kofi Mensah Feelings popularly known by his stage name as Kofi Feelings has suggested that in the scheme of this pandemic coming Friday, 20th of March should be declared as 'Fasting and Prayer' Day against Coronavirus.
The 'akyemfo driver' hit maker made this assertion in a facebook post, he wrote
'I suggest we declare coming friday a nation wide fasting and prayers day against corona virus, what do u think?" he asked
This captivated and garnered lot of comments in support of his avow.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with bogaalihashim.com The Hilife musician said "...the president, ministry of health and some NGOs are doing their best to curb this coronavirus pandemic but however we shouldn't lose sight of fasting and prayers.
As a believer i know in times like this, God is all we need."
He continued " that notwithstanding, we must adhere to the preventive measures such as drinking lots of water, avoid shaking of hands, we should have enough rest and frequent washing of hands."
Meanwhile, Kofi Feelings is set to release another masterpiece titled 'adze bi no' in no time.
The Hilife crooner is well known for songs like Efua Adezewa, Twa Mu Ko and Akyemfo Driver.
Ghana has recorded 6 cases of the deadly Covid19 pandemic and that has heightened tensions among its citizens as the president has also ordered the shutdown of school and suspended public gatherings as a preventive measure to avoid the spread of the disease.
