Election petition: Mahama files for stay of proceedings

Lawyers for former President John Dramai Mahama have filed an application for stay proceedings at the Supreme Court in the election petition hearing.

A seven-Member panel of the apex court chaired by Chief Justice Kwasi Anin Yeboah on Wednesday issued some timelines for the parties to follow including the Petitioner filing their witness statements by 12noon today.

However, the Petitioner of the 2020 presidential election at the Supreme Court has instead filed a stay.

Below is the stay of proceedings filed at the Supreme Court today.
