Talking to DJ Thrash on Promo Tym on Radio Shama 92.9fm, He said that, looking at the hard work the Gospel fraternity in the western region did, the year under review, Artistes like gospel diva Ewuraba Eesi, PO Kwabena Donkor who are nominated in the Ghana National Gosplel Music Awards as New Artist and Adventist Vibrant Artist respectively, EL Manuel, Vincent Nyarko, Isaac K Dentu, Navah to mention a few, are commanding numbers on their YouTube accounts, audiomacks, soundclouds accounts, Performing on big shows, organizing their own events and attracting quiet some huge numbers, winning awards within the country, getting good Airplays on tvs and commanding serious numbers in terms of radio airplays, to name a few in the western region and outside the region as Performing gospel artistes and not gospel ministers.
He stressed "AM NOT A HAPPY PERSON BECAUSE, LOOKING AT THE WORKS THE PERFORMING & RECORDING GOSPEL ARTISTES DID, SOMEONE LIKE EWURABA EESI, WHO HAS WON COUNTLESS RECOGNIZABLE AWARDS IN THE COUNTRY, PERFORMED ACROSS THE COUNTRY, HER SONGS ARE BEEN PLAYED AND COMPETING WITH CIRCULAR ARTISTES ACROSS THE COUNTRY, SHE IS ALL OVER THE PLACE AS A GOSPEL ARTIST, PO KWABENA DONKOR, ISAAC K DENTU, VINCENT NYARKO, EL MANUEL, NAVAH WHO ARE ALL DOING MASSIVELY AS GOSPEL ARTISTES AND AM SURPRISED NOT TO SEE ANY OF THESE YOUNG VIBRANT MUSICIANS IN THERE. FOR ME, I DONT KNOW THE CREATIRIA OR SURVEY THEY LOOK AT BEFORE THEY PICKED THE ARTISTES, SO I CANT FAULT THEM THAT MUCH BUT FOR ME PERSONALLY, I AM DISAPPOINTED"
