Ghana Statistical Service Trained Officers for Data Collection.
The Ghana Statistical Service has began its face to face session for trainees. This is the last phase of training National officers who will be deployed to collect data for the 2021 Census and Housing Population.
According to the Acting Deputy Statistician of Ghana Statistical Service Mrs Araba Forson, the training first began with self learning then to virtual and finally to face to face session.
She stated that the training will last for 8 days, starting from 8th-16th April, 2021 of which they shall obtain their final list of trainees who will pass this practical test.
Furthermore, Mrs Forson Emphasis that the selected regional trainees will be deployed to teach the district trainees to obtain accurate data on field.
The Acting Deputy Statisticians therefore encourage the trainees to pay more attention in the practical session to be able to transcend right information to the district officers.
Mrs Araba Forson however encourage the regional trainees to actively know and understand how to approach persons in collecting data accurately.
She ended by saying some districts are lacking officers who will be working on field in collecting data, she is therefore encouraging prospective and qualified applicants to use this opportunity by applying on their official website.
