Mr. Andrew Egyapa Mercer, the Deputy Minister for Energy and incumbent Member of Parliament for Sekondi Constituency wishes Hasaacas Ladies all the best of luck in their quest to participate in the WAFU Zone B Women’s Championship in a week’s time.
In an interview on Skyy Power 93.5FM afternoon’s sport show, the Minister confirmed that the NPP Western caucus in Parliament has contributed an amount of GHS10,000.00 to the team from their caucus dues after receiving a letter from the management.
Mr. Mercier said, “It is true that we the Western Caucus at Parliament has donated GHS10,000 to Hasaacas Ladies, the team was led by Mr. Joe Ghartey, the MP for Essikado-Ketan“
“The money is from the dues we pay as a caucus at Parliament, we received a letter from Hasaacas Ladies and we thought it wise to help them. Definitely we wish them well, we hope Hasmal all the best in the competition,”he added.
