A 12-year-old girl has died in Shama, in the Shama District of the Western Region after a building collapsed on her amidst the heavy rains.
The sad incident happened at about 9:00 pm on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.
According to reports, a mud building nearby the victim’s house collapsed, which affected their building, leading to a part of the roof falling on the victim’s head.
She was rushed to the Benedijct Hospital after the accident but died on arrival.
The body has since been deposited at the morgue.
