The Ahantaman Girls’ Senior High School in Sekondi on Saturday, May 7th welcomed its fresh students for the 2022 academic year in a grand style.
It was a joyous and a remarkable day for the students and the staff as the Entertainment Committee of the school headed by Mrs. Angela Esi Saki-Kordah, who doubles as a gospel musician with the stage name Ewuraba Eesi, organised a fiesta dubbed ‘akwaaba nite’ to usher the new students into the school.
The occasion was heralded with stunning and rich cultural and traditional raiment display by the students amid fun and excitements.
Meanwhile, The Ahantaman Girls’ Senior High School which was established in 1948 by Mr. Emmanuel Idun will be commemorating its 75th anniversary in December 2023.
And preparations are far advanced to mark a mega and momentous anniversary, according to the headmistress of the school.
