Bibiani GoldStars have confirmed the signing of striker, Samson Eduku, ahead of the new football season.
The energetic forward joined The Miners after parting ways with Asante Kotoko, following the conclusion of the 2024/25 football season.
The 27-year-old is believed to have signed a two-year deal with the Ghana Premier League champions.
Eduku's arrival forms part of GoldStars’ broader squad-strengthening strategy as they gear up for their debut appearance in the CAF Champions League, following their historic Ghana Premier League title win.
He becomes the latest addition to an expanding squad that includes fellow newcomers Emmanuel Agyei, Emmanuel Fosu Kyei, Emmanuel Agyenim Boateng, Barimah Baah, Edward Agyemang, Emmanuel Kontor, and Emmanuel Ankrah.
Head coach Frimpong Manso will assess his team’s readiness for the continental challenge in the 2025 GHALCA Top Four tournament, which kicks off next month.
The Miners are also set to take on Asante Kotoko in the Champion of Champions match as part of their pre-season schedule.
