Black Stars Gear Up: Key Dates for September's World Cup Qualifiers Announced


FIFA has announced the schedule for the September matches in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.

Ghana is set to compete in two matches against Chad and Mali in September, concluding the qualifiers in October.


The Black Stars will visit Chad for matchday 7 and will host Mali for the matchday 8 encounter.


Otto Addo's team is scheduled to play Chad at Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno on Thursday, September 4, before facing Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, September 8, 2025.


Currently, Ghana leads the Group I standings with 15 points, which is 3 points ahead of second-placed Comoros and 5 points clear of third-placed Madagascar, having achieved 5 wins and suffered 1 loss in six matches.


The match against Chad is set to start at 13:00 GMT, while the game in Accra against Mali will kick off at 19:00 GMT.
