EIB Network's Empire 102.7 FM in Takoradi has recruited Haruna Babangida as the host of their new program dubbed 'Empire Reggae'.
This was made known after the station made an official announcement on Thursday, January 25 on its social media pages.
The news has sparked loads of excitement amongst fans and followers of the connoisseur of reggae music.
Haruna Babangida With a strong following across Sekondi-Takoradi and Ghana, has solidified his reputation as one of the leading radio hosts for reggae music. It comes as no surprise that he has chosen to join the largest urban radio brand in the Western Region.
Known for his infectious energy, and his deep knowledge of pan-Africanism and reggae music, Haruna Babangida has captivated listeners from all walks of life. Each day, his popularity continues to soar, serving as a unifying force within the reggae culture.
Haruna Babangida brings a wealth of experience to his new role. His broadcasting journey began in 2009 with Diamond FM in Tamale before relocating to the southern part of the country to join Melody FM. After an impressive eight-year tenure with Melody FM, he expanded his reach to Ocean1 TV in 2018 and subsequently joined the Takoradi wing of YFM in 201 and Azay FM in 2023.
