Mensah Kweku Emmanuel Continues Regional Oversight of National Service Personnel in Western Region

On Tuesday, 5th May 2026, Mensah Kweku Emmanuel, the Western Regional Director of the National Service Authority (NSA), advanced his ongoing monitoring exercise across various institutions hosting National Service Personnel (NSPs) in the Western Region.

This visit marks his third engagement in ensuring the effective supervision and welfare of the personnel under his jurisdiction.

The day’s itinerary commenced with a warm and commendable reception at the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) Foundation, led by the industrious Executive Director, Hon. Helga Aryee Boadi.

Following this, the team proceeded to the Ahanta West Municipal Assembly, where they paid a courtesy call to Hon. Ebenezer Aidoo, the dynamic Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ahanta West, before interacting directly with the dedicated NSPs working within the municipality.

Subsequent visits included Baidoo Bonsu Senior High School, where the focus was on assessing the working conditions and challenges faced by the service personnel in the educational sector.

The day concluded at Norpalm Ghana Limited, rounding off a comprehensive tour of key institutions that contribute to the development and engagement of NSPs in the region.

This monitoring exercise forms part of the NSA’s broader mandate to ensure that the conditions under which National Service Personnel operate are conducive, and that stakeholders remain actively involved in enhancing the overall service experience.

Through these visits, the NSA continues to foster accountability, support, and dialogue between service personnel and host agencies, thereby promoting efficient service delivery and professional growth.

Mensah Kweku Emmanuel’s sustained commitment to this supervisory role underscores the importance placed on the National Service Scheme as a vital platform for youth development and national progress within the Western Region.
