Effia MP Organizes Free Breast Cancer Screening for Constituents


In a commendable effort to promote health awareness and early detection, Lawyer Isaac Boamah Nyarko, the Member of Parliament for the Effia Constituency, organized a two-day free breast cancer screening initiative over the weekend.



The event saw a significant turnout of women from the constituency, reflecting the community's eagerness to prioritize their health.

During the screening exercise, Lawyer Nyarko highlighted the critical importance of regular health checks and described the initiative as a part of a larger strategy to foster a healthy and vibrant female population in Effia.



He remarked, “This is an opportunity for women to check their health status. A healthy population, especially women, is vital to the growth of our communities.”

Additionally, the MP announced the impending completion of the Effia Health Post, which aims to provide residents with accessible medical care.



He expressed his commitment to introducing regular health screenings covering various health aspects to ensure early detection and treatment of health conditions.

Nyarko encouraged residents to take full advantage of such health initiatives, underscoring that early diagnosis and consistent medical care can save lives.
