President John Dramani Mahama will, on Saturday, 18 April 2026, begin a two-day #ResettingGhana tour of the Northern region.
The tour, which is the second after the Bono Region, will afford citizens, led by their traditional leaders, the opportunity to engage the President directly to provide feedback on his policy initiatives, the impact of these initiatives on their daily lives, ongoing development projects, and concerns that need redress.
President Mahama, who will be accompanied by various ministers of state and heads of institutions, will cut the sod to commence work on 24-hour markets and inspect the progress of projects in the region.
On Sunday, the President will open his government up for scrutiny.
This will be a town hall meeting at the University of Development Studies (UDS) in Tamale, where appointees will use the occasion to explain major interventions over the past year.
