Stunning, gifted and well decorated Ghanaian make-up artist Millicent Akosua Asiedua has been crowned the 2021 'Make-up Artiste of the year' at the just ended Akuapem Fashion Designers & Beauticians Awards.
Following this success and achievement, The CEO of Apisco Records, Mr. Samuel Banasam has decided to throw a 'welcome' party in celebration of the award and in honor of the awardee.
The event which is expected to come off on Sunday, September 26 at Hans Lounge in Kwabenya Point One at 7:00 evening will be star studded with appearance and performances from renowned Ghanaian highlife Musician Assanqoma, Phresh Adam, Sitso, Edema, Kay Wusu, Natty Ranking and a host of others.
Meanwhile, The owner of Milly Bridal, Millicent Akosua Asiedua in an interview gave an account on how she started the whole journey as a makeup artist
"I started working small small from home, it was a rented house where I was living with mum and my siblings. I went through a lot but I didn’t give up. I put all my trust in God and God didn’t disappoint me. I now have a small shop and which am working in . I was Nominated by the Akuapem Fashion Designs and beauticians awards and God being so good, I won the award. I thank God almighty for given me this opportunity and I know God is not yet done me, greater things are yet to come. And I also thank God for my new manager Apisco , I pray God bless him for the good heart he has for me "
